HKDSA are proud of sponsoring a CSR event that targets at Tung Wah’s Lions Club South Kowloon Nursery School. The”童享爱心共進餐” event was held at the iBakery Galley Café which is also a social enterprise under the Tung Wah group on 28 Sep 2024. Leading by Mr. Steven Sze, President of the Association, beautiful story books and cookie packets were passed out by ten HKDSA volunteers. The volunteer program was to offer young children aged 2-6 to have a story telling and to decorate cookies. The program brought a cheerful moment to the children. The group of volunteers and children were very satisfactory to enjoy a delicious and healthy meal towards the program end. Before the closing of the event, Mr Sze on behalf of the HKDSA received a special caring card in return of acknowledging program sponsorship and appreciating association generosity.
The Direct Selling Association of Hong Kong (HKDSA) has always been committed to participating in local charity campaigns. The association undertakes corporate social responsibility, and has worked with various charitable organizations. In recent years, the HKDSA joined hands with Tung Wah Group of Hospitals (TWGHs) and co-organized numerous charity events to strive to build a better community!
Due to the threat of COVID-19, our daily life has been impacted in many ways. Children ended up having to stay at home. In light of this, the HKDSA prepared learning kits for the students of the TWGHs Chiap Hua Cheng’s Nursery School. The learning kits include educational materials and stationery, designed to support small children in their attention span and having fun learning experiences at home.
The general public has also been suffering from the stress caused by the unexpected expenses on the increased prices of anti-virus supply and other commodities. In order to support our communities, HKDSA and its member companies, prepared gift packs for the students and families from the TWGHs Wan Chai Kindergarten. Each gift pack includes face masks, food and other protective supplies. By doing so, we hope to serve the urgent needs of many families, supporting the young children to grow healthily in a safe and worry-free environment.
HKDSA also created beautiful cards designed by the little children demonstrating their amazing creativity. The cards were sent along with the learning kits and gift packs for these two campaigns, to generate a positive vibe, cheering up and encouraging everyone to staying hopeful during this difficult time!
